- This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The purpose of this request is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to NACIS 333312. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs North Little Rock Arkansas is seeking responsible sources for a potential contract to provide: Service to rebuild G A Braun laundry equipment. All work to be done on weekends when the laundry is not in use. Braun drier model 81HS-NGF Replace trunnion assembly, bearings, basket and associated parts to rebuild 5 dryers. Braun sheet spreader and feeder model MP4SSF Replace feed carriage assembly, belts, cylinders and associated components. Omega folder model 2PF3CF Replace rollers, control wiring, belts, relays, photocells (source and detector), photocell amplifier, static bar, lift blade, clutch, power supply and associated components. Braun BTW washer model M110BTW-10 Replace starter on a single washer Braun TSL washer model 400NTDP-2 Replace starter on a single washer Braun TSL washer model 200NTDP-2 Replace starter on a single washer All interested firms shall provide the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, capability statement, and business size. Responses to this notice shall be emailed to Sandra.smith13@va.gov and James.fulks@va.gov, Contract Specialist, Network 16 Contracting Activity, North Little Rock Arkansas. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 3:00 p.m. CDT April 17, 2012. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. DISCLAIMER This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
