- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey on behalf of Program Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM TAS) intends to Solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source new Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Upper and Lower Carriages Titanium Welding and Engineering support for the M119A2 Howitzer. This requirement is for Upper and Lower Carriages Titanium Welding and Engineering support of the M119A2 Howitzer Program and address obsolescence to Triumph Structures Los Angeles (TSLA) in Los Angeles, California on a Sole Source basis. The Justification & Approval (J&A), currently being staffed, addresses unique capabilities. Authority for this procurement comes under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii).
