Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to negotiate on a limited basis with Rockwell Automation Inc., 2650 Eisenhower Avenue, Suite 108B, Norristown, PA, 19403. Contract N65540-06-D-0022 was awarded based on full and open competition with award being made to one offeror. The purpose of the modification is to increase the effort in order to bridge the gap and continue to provide Machinery Control System (MCS) supplies and support until the follow-on contract can be awarded. The attached document indicates the required parts and services for this modification. The contract ceiling amount will be adjusted accordingly. All other terms and conditions of the existing contract will remain unchanged. The modification to the existing contract will utilize other than full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplier or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements (FAR 6.302-1).
