- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Carelton Life Support Systems, Inc. (dba Cobham Mission System) for teardown, test, evaluation, repair, and on-site verification to repair up to eight (8) CV-22 O2N2 Concentrator Test Sets, P/N 3300204-6102 for one base year and two option years. Repair of the O2N2 Concentrator Test Set requires proprietary parts and technical data that is only possessed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Carleton Life Support Systems. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the rights to the data or other specifications to permit full and open competition. This is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-12-T-0090. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Any challenges must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice and contain adequate support information.
