THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES. THIS NOTICE ALSO POSTS THE DRAFT PERFORMANCE-BASE WORK STATEMENT FOR CONTRACTOR REVIEW OF THE UPCOMING AIR FORCE ENGINEERING INTERFACE DEVICE SUPPORT PROJECT SOLICITATION. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Sources Sought The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors interested in providing proposals on a competitive engineering interface device support solicitation in support of Hill Air Force Base. This requirement will provide the government with the ability to procure services as required for interface device analysis, assessment, conceptual documentation, and full scale working model prototypes. The intended contract is projected to be a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The work will consist of developing conceptual and detailed technical packages for interface devices, analyze, assess, and document using military Level III Standards, and provide a limited number of full scale working model prototype interface devices from the conceptual and detailed design drawings. This would include delivering a design package that can be used for the reprocurement of the interface device. Work performed will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code No. 541512, Computer Systems Design Services. During the life of the contract, projects will be identified as task orders. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supervision, personnel, and all else necessary to complete each project. Request interested firms respond to this notice and provide the following information: (a) Firm's Information [name, address, phone number] (b) Cage Code (c) Size [e.g., 8(a) [including graduation date], HUBZone-certified small business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned small business, small business, large business, etc.] (d) DUNS (e) Interest level in requirement [i.e. prime, subcontractor, etc.] (f) Any comments on draft PWS (g) Short statement of company capabilities and competencies in regards to engineering interface device support Interested contractors must provide the above listed information to the point of contact listed herein. Information submitted shall be in sufficient detail to allow for government review of the firm's interest and capabilities. The government reserves the right to establish this acquisition as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside based on the responses received. Once the determination has been made to either set-aside the acquisition or solicit on an unrestricted basis, it will be posted on this website.
