- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5l00, plans to procure on a sole source basis, propane for Wallops Island ™s SCSC by extending the current contract and adding funds to cover anticipated propane usage. The basis for the sole source is that the previous requirement was competed, and as a result of the award, the contractor, Sharp Energy, D&B #361522675, installed two (2) one-thousand (1,000) gallon tanks on-base for consumption by V3 for heating purposes. **FURTHER, THE TANKS TO BE FILLED ARE THE PROPERTY OF SHARP ENERGY. The contract is expected to be extended through 30 June 2013. The propane to be provided shall be HD5 grade, and shall be delivered as required. There will be no written solicitation issued as a result of this notification. Please reference NSWC Request for Quote (RFQ) # N00178-12-Q-1002..
