- The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island at the Rock Island Arsenal, IL intends to award a new contract under solicitation W52P1J-12-R-0075 to obtain a wide range of management, non-management and technical support services necessary to augment Base Operations Support - Integrators (BOS-I) at Bagram Airfield. The contractor shall provide all human resources, supervision, oversight, management, and travel necessary to perform BOS-I Support Services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government anticipates a 1 year base contract and two option years. Solicitation will be released to industry on/or about 18 April 2012. Written comments or questions regarding this notice must be emailed to Mr. Joe DePover at joseph.r.depover.civ@mail.mil or Mr. Jake Adrian at jake.m.adrian.civ@mail.mil. Industry Questions and Answers Q1: Regarding the RFP to be issued o/a 18 April for BOS-I services at Bagram (W52P1J-12-R-0075), we are interested in knowing if any restrictions on bidding for this work have been established and can be communicated to us prior to the release of the RFP. A1: No restrictions. Full and Open competition. Q2: Specifically, we would like to know if performing under a current USG contract at Bagram prevents us from proposing for this opportunity. A2: This procurement has the potential for Organizational Conflicts of Interest. Depending on type of contract an OCI Mitigation Plan may be required. Q3: What skill sets will be required? A3: This information will be contained in the upcoming solicitation and PWS. Solicitation is scheduled for release on or about April 18. Q4: Will a facility clearance be required? A4: This will also be detailed in the upcoming solicitation and PWS. If the PWS has Secret Requirements, then yes, at the secret level. Q5: Is this a new requirement or is there an incumbent? If there is an incumbent, what is the name of the contractor? A5: This is a new requirement. No previous history.
