Description

Solicitation and SOW The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Patuxent River, MD issues this combined synopsis/solicitation and intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with MTS SYSTEMS CORPORATION, under the authority of FAR Part 12 & 13, and FAR Part 6.302-1. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract; go to www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm to register. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This is not a request for competitve proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date of Monday, April 16, 2012 by 12 PM (EST), may be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses is solely within the discretion of he government. Additionally, the Information received may be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received. Proposals are accepted via email; please send to the Contracting POC above by the closing date and time. Expected Award is April 18, 2012.
