Description
The Department of Commerce, NOAA Ship HENRY B. BIGELOW, Woods Hole, MA has a requirement for Engineering and Design Services to reinforce the 01 deck, starboard side, to allow for installation of a new work boat, cradle and davit as described in the Statement of Work provided with the solicitation. Award of a firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance is date if award through thirty (30) days after NOAA ‘s acceptance of concept drawings. The contract is expected to be awarded on or about April 30, 2012. The applicable NAICS number is 541330 and the small size standard is $18.5 million. The Federal Supply Class is J998. This requirement is 100% set aside for Small business. The request for quotations is only available on line by downloading from this site. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a Federal Contract. For information regarding registration in CCR, contact the CCR website at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. Additionally, each offeror must obtain, and provide with the quote, their nine-digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes are to remain effective for 30 days after close of solicitation. Contractors are encouraged to register with FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service.
