Description
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) Ice Contract 1 GENERAL 1.1 SCOPE OF WORK: The IRT program will require Ice for food preservation and hydration during the period of April 25, 2012 to September 30, 2012. The vendor shall provide and deliver up to 5,500 (7lbs bags) of ice during this period and also a container(s) for the storage of the ice at the designated/appointed location so directed by the JTF Summit staff. Currently the preferred location of the ice and freezer storage box will be located at the office of the JTF Summit staff located at: 110 High School Dr. Mt Hope, WV 25880 1.2 QUALITY CONTROL: The organization shall establish and maintain a complete quality control program for the performance requirements of this contract. SECTION 2 DEFINITIONS 2.1 Equipment: Equipment/trucks that are capable of delivering ice to the designated storage site for the ice. Provide the freezer storage containers/boxes necessary to store and maintain the ice capable of holding/maintaining up to 200 7lb bags of ice. SECTION 3 CONTRACTOR FURNISHED ITEMS AND SERVICES 3.1 GENERAL: The contractor shall provide all the equipment and labor required to perform this statement of work. 3.2 MINIMUM QUALITY STANDARDS: All operations shall be delivered with the equipment designed for that purpose. 3.3 VEHICLES: The contractor shall provide any and all vehicles necessary to fulfill the requirements of this contract. 3.4 All vehicles shall be operated in accordance with project site traffic regulations. Section 4 SPECIFIC TASKS 4.1 The following identifies, but is not limited to specific tasks for the Ice contract: 4.2 The fueling contractor will be responsible for providing the ICE to JTF Summit at the designated site(s). 4.3 Be able to deliver ice within 18 hours of request. 4.4 Provide the necessary equipment to off load the ice into the designated equipment. 4.5 Hours of operation for delivery will be within contractors designated hours of delivery. However, pending mission requirements JTF Summit may request services outside of contractors designated business hours. SECTION 5 HAZARDOUS REQUIREMENTS 5.1 The contractor shall be responsible for delivering ice within the requirements of local/state/federal laws governing. 5.2 The contractor shall be responsible for any accidents caused by the contractor while on site delivering ice in support of JTF Summit. 5.3 The contractor shall be responsible for the clean-up/removal of any spillage of hazardous material while on site delivering ice to JTF Summit.
