- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9 Laboratory located on 1337 South 46th Street in Richmond, CA 94804 has a requirement for a qualified small business firm to service scientific, analytical lab instruments described in the Statement of Work below. This solicitation is restricted to small business firms only. All of the work must be performed by a qualified small business firm. No partnering or joint venture with a large business is permitted. There is no solicitation package to request. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for maintenance of scientific equipment. See Attachment 1 for instructions to be considered for this procurement. Pre-bid Inspection: The equipment described in the statement of work may be inspected by appointment on-site at the Laboratory prior to submitting bids by contacting Richard Bauer at 510-412-2312. Time and date of inspections are 8 am to 12 noon on Wednesday 4/11/12, and 1pm to 5 pm on Thursday 4/12/12. All costs associated with any pre-bid inspection will be solely the responsibility of the contractor. The contract type will be firm-fixed-price. Selection of a firm or individual will be based on Technically Qualified and Low Bid. See Attachment 1. Prior to award, firms must be registered in the "Central Contractor Registration."
