- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is a pre-solicitation announcement. The U. S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), has a requirement for Meals delivered at the Location 1: 300 North Los Angeles, Room B-18, Los Angeles, CA 90012 and Location 2: Santa Ana Staging Area, 34 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701. The meals are required for housed detainees held at the staging sites waiting for removal proceedings process. Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) oversees ICE detention system that is responsible for providing adequate and appropriate custody management to support removal efforts. It is anticipated the contract type will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a base one-year period and two one-year option periods subject to availability of funds. The NAICS Code is 722310 with Small Business Size Standard of $35.5 million. The solicitation document will be published on or about April 20, 2012 with a tentative proposal due date of ten (10) days thereafter. Written, telephone or facsimile request for the solicitation documents will not be accepted. The distribution of the solicitation and all future information of the acquisition will be accomplished solely through postings at the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
