- Description
- Grounds Maintenance Services for Joint Base Charleston Weapons Station, South Carolina. The service consists of providing all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure grounds maintenance and landscaping services are performed at Joint Base Charleston Weapons Station, SC in a manner that will promote the growth of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants as well as maintain satisfactory grounds conditions and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. Services will be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions and industry best practices as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) with the focus on safety and customer service. This acquisition is currently in the SBA 8(a) Program where it will remain. The performance period for this service is an approximate three (3) month basic period of 01 July 2012 thru 30 September 2012 and 2 (one-year) option periods. All labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other furnished property and services except as specified in the contract as Government Furnished Property will be provided by the contractor. A fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% 8(a) Competitive Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 with a small business size standard of $7,000,000.00. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 20 April 2012 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
