Description

The National Park Service (NPS) has issued a new Prospectus soliciting for proposals in response to a business opportunity to operate overnight accommodations, boat rentals, and related services at Ross Lake Resort located within Ross Lake National Recreation Area a part of North Cascades National Park Service Complex. The NPS will issue the Prospectus on April 5, 2012, under the terms described in the Prospectus. The Director, pursuant to 36 C.F.R. Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is NOT a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for ten (10) years. Any proposals must be received by the National Park Service, Pacific West Region, Attn: Commercial Services office, 333 Bush Street, San Francisco, California, 94104. Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) August 2, 2012. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $40 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit cards accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package. Prospectus packages will be available by contacting Sue Eibeck, Commercial Services Specialist, Pacific West Region, via email at sue_eibeck@nps.gov. The Prospectus will also be available after April 5, 2012, at http://concessions.nps.gov/index.htm. If you choose to retrieve a copy of the Prospectus from the NPS website please notify Sue Eibeck via email, so you are placed on the mailing list to receive notifications of any future modifications or other correspondence. Any questions regarding this business opportunity must be received in writing no later than May 8, 2012.
