- This acquisition is being procured on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6.302-1,'Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements.' The intended source is Ewing Cole, Inc., 100 North Independence Mall W STE 2, Philadelphia, PA 19106. Ewing Cole, Inc. completed the final design documents (100% construction documents) for a fire suppression system under a previous contract. Ewing Cole will be solicited for Construction Administration services for their design, which will include responses to RFI's, submittal review, and providing as-built drawings. It would not be appropriate or reasonable for a different firm to perform Construction Administration Services for a design completed by Ewing Cole, Inc. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. No telephone responses will be accepted. The estimated cost is between $25,000 and the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The resultant contract shall be firm fixed price, estimated to start 6/30/12 and complete by 1/30/13.
