- STATEMENT OF WORK RENOVATIONS FOR MEAL DELIVERY SYSTEM 2ND & 3RD FLOOR CLC PROJECT #177 1.General: a.The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, and reports required for the renovation to construct a meal delivery system area in dining rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the CLC of the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Facility. Any work determined by the COTR as having a significant impact on the daily operations of the facility shall be conducted on an after-hours schedule. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work and all federal, state, and local code/regulations/standards shall be followed. b.The work will consist of renovating the dining rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the CLC for a meal delivery system area. The work will general consist of kitchen cabinets, counter tops, sink with hot/cooled water and electrical power for the new equipment. c.The contractor shall obtain Architect/Engineer services for obtaining and verifying all existing conditions details and dimensions of all sizes for any and all materials that will be needed to complete the renovations of the meal delivery system on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the CLC. The renovation shall consist of kitchen cabinets (base & wall), solid surface countertop, sink, electrical power for kitchen equipment and a serving counter. The Contractor shall be responsible for the complete design and construction and all modifications and material that are required to install all products. The contractor shall also be responsible to patch and repair any wall, ceiling, doors and floors that may get damaged during the renovations. d.The above scope of work is intended to describe the project in general. The contractor shall abide by all Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) guidelines when performing this project. The contractor shall protect the floor from all construction demolition. e.The contractor shall follow all federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and standards, and all work shall be performed during normal business hours 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday to Friday excluding national holidays. The work shall be coordinated through the designated Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR), Mike Somoga. All contractors shall have an identification badge on them at all times with their name and company clearly identified.
