- CORRECTION This is a Sources Sought Notice, Not a Request for SF330's. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Great Lakes Acquisition Center is seeking qualified Architect/Engineer (AE) firms that are Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) verified in the following categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); 8(a), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), and/or Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) for Multi-Disciplined AE Design Services at the Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, Illinois. Work to include, but would not be limited to: planning, design and oversee construction of MEP engineering services and related architectural services for completion of task order projects issued under a resulting open-ended contract at Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, IL. The firm shall be listed in CCR under NAICS code 541330 and be capable of providing professional services necessary for the design of various in-house projects at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and associated CBOC facilities that are primarily Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/ Fire Protection) in scope and may have related Architectural design services. Scope of work may include the Field Verification of existing conditions, preparation of schematic designs, space plans, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, review of shop drawings & sample submittals, site visits and preparation of punch lists etc. for final acceptance. NAICS code 541330 Size standard $4.5million Prime contractor should have registered architect and engineers as members of firm or team. Firms must meet the requirements of FAR Clause 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting (DEC 1996). The area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 100-mile radius of Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, Illinois, 60612.
