- Network Contracting Activity 8 is seeking responsible sources to provide Biomedical Waste Services for Jacksonville Specialty Clinic, 4253 Salisbury Road, Jacksonville FL 32216. The North American Industrial Classification System 562112 with a standard size of 1500 employees. This is a negotiated procurement; there will not be a public bid opening. Solicitation VA248-12-Q-1113 will be available on or about April 4, 2012. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the FedBizOpps. FedBizOpps is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. In order to obtain information from FedBizOpps, you will first be required to register with CCR (Central Contractor's Registration) database. You may access CCR at the following URL, www.bpn.gov. Once you register with CCR you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. Also, beginning January 1, 2005, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) all vendors were required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. The electronic solicitation VA248-12-Q-1113 may be downloaded on http://wwwfedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), or any other action related to the solicitation. Responses to this notice shall be faxed to Shirley Courtney, Contract Specialist, FAX 352-381-5746; email address: shirley.courtney@va.gov or mailed to address: Network Contracting Activity 8, Commerce Bldg, 300 East Ave. Ste 180, Gainesville, FL 32601. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 4:30 p.m. EDT April 13, 2012. Responses should clearly state their ability to provide the services.
