Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought Notice shall be voluntary. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the NAICS code 611699. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is $7 Million. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project, the Government may use responses to this sources sought synopsis. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey and provide their capabilities statement addressing items a. through e. below as well as any contact information to determine market capabilities. Hurlburt Field FL is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide training of an Advanced Urban Warfare Course. The potential requirement shall provide all supplies, materials, equipment, labor, personnel, facilities and management necessary to conduct training of an Advanced Urban Warfare Course on the dates of 23 April, 2012 through 28 April, 2012. Training provided through these courses is geared towards military operations and is consistent with specific taskings deployed members face IAW the 1C4X1 AFSC. The training shall meet mandated training requirements prior to deployment. The offeror shall be able to meet or exceed all of the following: a. The course shall be between 95 and 100 hours in length over a period of 6 consecutive days. b. Prospective offeror shall possess a USDA Class "R" Medical License; current, in good standing, & active IACUC Board certification. c. Perspective offeror shall be listed on the 720 STG authorized school listing or, be able to obtain authorization from the 720 STG not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the start date of the contract. d. Prospective offeror shall possess DoD/DoJ approved ARMAG weapons & sensitive items armory and covered ballistic shoot house facilities with see-through catwalks, railed,with views into all rooms from catwalk, wired for sound, lighted, interior & exterior wall breach capable, interior & exterior door breach capable, window breaching ports, with solid footing throughout (slab). Structure shall be capable of being divided in to not oess than four separate live- fire structures with rifle-grade ballistic doors on the ground & catwalk levels for safety. All exterior openings shall have a rifle-grade ballistic door/hatch for safety. All wall-breaching ports shall have a rifle-grade door/hatch. e. The shoot-house shall be supported by a classroom within close proximity of its location. The classroom must be able to accommodate up to 24 students, their weapons, daily training munitions, and PPE. This request may not directly lead to a Request for Quotation/Proposal.
