Description
PL83220002 PCAP RFI Q&As The purpose of this amendment is to provide Quetsions and Answers related to the RFI. The due date of responses remain the same 11 Apr 2012 at 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Program Executive Office - Mission Assurance/ (PEO-MA), is conducting this Request for Information (RFI) as market research to determine sources with competencies to provide a Packet Capture and Data Retrieval System. For network security and situational awareness purposes, the DoD plans to collect the data traveling through the network infrastructure. The DoD is seeking a solution capable of providing full Packet Capture of the Enterprise Global Information Grid (GIG), to include long-term storage of that capture data, and allow systems analysts to retrieve the data from the system. The proposed solution must provide mechanisms to handle unpredictable increases in data volume, and provide a maintainable and cost-effective solution. See attached RFI document for further instructions. Limit the technical questions to the central theme of the actual requirement that is being procured. Questions for this RFI will be due to the email address identified below No Later Than (NLT) 20 MAR 2012, at 5:00 P.M Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The resulting vendor submission should be a technically sound response. The response should not exceed a 5 MB e-mail limit for all items associated with the RFI response. Firms who wish to respond to this RFI should send responses via email NLT 11 APR 2012 at 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Interested vendors should forward their capabilities and other information to be considered to PEO_IANACQUISITION@disa.mil and stephanie.mitchell@disa.mil. Interested vendors which need to submit classified capabilities or classified past performance information should email stephanie.mitchell@disa.mil for submission instructions.
