- This is a Notice of Intent of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, located at 167 N. Main Street, b-202, Memphis, TN 38103-1894 to negotiate an 8 (a) sole source award with MIE Inc., 510 Marvin C Zandera Avenue, Apopka, FL 32703-5260. The supplies and services to be procured under this solicitation are classified under NACIS code 238330 and a small business size standard is $14.0 million dollars. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $10,000 and $25,000.00. This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statue exists that expressly authorizes or requires that this acquisition be made for a specific source or through another agency; specifically FAR 6.302-5(b) (4) for sole source award under the 8 (a) program 15 U.S.C 637 (a) and in accordance with 13 CFR124.1-1 (c) and FAR 19.8. Per FAR 6.302-5, a Justification and Approval is not required for this award. This project consists of removing and disposing of existing flooring on the Motor Vessel Mississippi and installing new sheet rubber flooring. This project is located in Shelby County, Tennessee and work is to be performed at Ensley Engineer Yard located at 2915 Riverport Road in Memphis, Tennessee
