Description

The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Trane U.S. Inc., dba: Trane, 6736 Netherland Dr. Ste B, Wilmington, NC 28405-3775, (Cage Code 1HFN2) in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement to establish a contract for eight (8) each Steam Heating Coil, Model number DNSB24109G0AA042AA-A0DA; four (4) each Steam Heating Coil, Model number DNSB30109G0AA042AA-A0DA; four (4) each Steam Heating Coil, Model number DNSB33109G0AA042AA-A0DA. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items. Therefore, the government intends to procure these items on a sole source basis from Trane. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received in a timely manner of fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT AN OFFER, WHICH WILL BE CONSIDERED. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
