- Description
- The Government has a requirement to provide non-personal services support, in the form of Access Control Services Specialists, to assist the Commander, Special Troops Battalion, USARCENT in monitoring and operating electronic security systems and manual processes that support the access control of Building 1947, facilitate access to the building by military and civilian employees whose place of duty is therein and by personnel who have validated visit requirements to conduct business or provide support within the headquarters building. The Contractor shall provide selected security management staff supports in order to further assure the viability of the Command's key control and property pass programs and Access Control Services in accordance with the specific requirements of the performance work statement (PWS) in full compliance with DoD, U.S. Army, Installation and organizational (USARCENT) policy, directives, orders and guidance. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, training, materials, supplies and equipment (except as otherwise specified in this PWS) and will plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure the effective performance of all required Access Control Services. The contract is scheduled to start the 28th of May 2012 through 27 May 2013 and will include four option years. The requirement is 100% Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS Code is 561612, $18,500,000.00. The solicitation will be posted shortly. Interested vendors are responsible for downloading a copy of the solicitation and any amendments. Any questions concerning the solicitation shall be emailed to the attention of the contract specialist. NOTE: The Place of Performance is SHAW, AFB (Sumter)South Carolina.
