- The U.S. Marshals Service/Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System Division intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source, to SimCom International, Inc, 6989 Lee Vista Blvd., Orlando, FL. 32822, for pilot-in-command recurrent academic and flight training for USMS flight crews operating the Saab 2000 aircraft. The period of performance for this requirement is date of award through 30 September 2012.This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a request for offers. This Notice of Intent is neither a request for competitive quotations, nor a solicitation of offers. Proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit only one source. However, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes to this office by 2:00 pm, (CST), Monday, April 16, 2012, by email to Mr. Victor Stamps at Victor.J.Stamps@usdoj.gov. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the capabilities to perform the requirement immediately. Telephone requests will not be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
