- USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program for Cameron County Drainage District #3, Cameron County, Texas. The project is for bank stabilization along the existing drainage ditches. Work includes constructing sheet piling to stabilize the drainage channel banks located along the existing drainage ditches near Harlingen, Texas. The project will involve excavation, earthfill, drain fill placement and driving sheet piling for the bank toe stabilization. The work must be completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings. It is expected the solicitation package to include specifications and drawings, will be posted the week of April 23rd, 2012. A site showing will be conducted. The site showing information will be posted later, as an amendment to this announcement. Price Range: $500,000 - $1,000,000
