- This synopsis is a pre-solicitation notice and is not a request for proposal (RFP). The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) intendeds to establish a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) to provides strategic, technical, and program management advice, guidance and support services to CMS, HHS and HHS OPDIVs to facilitate the modernization of business processes and supporting systems and their operations. It is anticipated that CMS will award one (1) single award IDIQ contract that will have a five (5) year ordering period. CMS intends to solicit this requirement under full and open competition. This announcement is not a request for proposal (RFP). CMS anticipates release of a Request for Proposal on or about Wednesday, April 18, 2012. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website.
