- The United State Penitentiary, McCreary, KY plans to issue a solicitation for a Plastic Foam Densifying machine (Styrofoam Compacting Machine). The NAICS code for this requirement is 333249. This solicitation is unrestricted. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.ccr.gov and http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be available on or about April 3, 2012, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http//www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is April 12, 2012; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due.
