SOURCES SOUGHT FOR DESIGN, SUPPLY AND CONSTRUCTION OF POOL INDUSTRIAL DEHUMIDIFIER: (W911RX-12-R-0003) U.S. Army FT Riley Department of Public Works (DPW) PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ISSUED ONLY TO CONDUCT A MARKET RESEARCH STUDY FOR AN ANTICIPATED MILITARY PROGRAM. The information received will be used within Department of Public Works, Fort Riley, Kansas, to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the organization. This announcement is not a request for proposals, but a survey of the market for potential sources. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Department of Public Works, FT. Riley, KS is seeking SBA Total Small Business with current relevant experience, personnel, and capability to design, build, and perform construction associated with the installation of an Industrial Pool Dehumidifier at the U.S. Army FT Riley DPW. The project if awarded under a contract will include all material and labor, for the demolition and removal of the existing Industrial Pool Dehumidifier to also include the equipment sizing, design, manufacture and engineering calculations, installation, training and start up of a complete dehumidification system for Eyster Pool northeast of BLDG #6940 FT Riley, Kansas. Eyster Pool is an Olympic sized 5 meter indoor pool. The room that houses the pool is typically kept at 87 degrees Fahrenheit, 55%RH while the pool is kept at 85 degrees. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s) should be classified under is 221330 (Steam and Air-Conditioning Supply), with a corresponding Small Business Size Standard of $12.5 Million. In an effort to receive responses all providers with the following NAICS code of 333415 (Air-conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing) with a size standard of 750 employees may submit a response for review. The proposed contract if awarded will be for a stand-alone project to responsible company with recent and relevant experience in previous projects dating back not more than six (6) years. Proposed teaming arrangements, 8a Mentor/Prot g, or other partnering agreements shall identify clearly the primary offeror for determination of responsibility purposes. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement utilizing their company letterhead in a Portable Document Format (PDF). 1)Contractor Information: Provide your firm's contact information with a central POC. 2)Identify type of Small Business. For more information on the definitions or requirements for these small business programs, refer to http://www.sba.gov/. 3)Bonding Capacity: Provide your surety's name, your maximum bonding capacity per project, and your aggregate maximum bonding capacity. 4)Experience: Submit a maximum of 5 government or commercial contracts/projects your firm has completed in the last 6 years demonstrating your experience in construction, demolition, debris removal, design and build of various types of industrial Dehumidifiers for Olympic size or larger Pool Type facilities. This past experience may be for the military and/or commercial nonresidential buildings related work within the cost range of $400,000 and $750,000. For each of the contracts/projects submitted for experience, provide the title; location; whether prime or subcontractor work; award and completion dates; contract or subcontract value; type of work; type of contract; a narrative description of the services provided by your firm; and customer information including point of contact, phone number, and email address.
