- Description
- The Army Contracting-Redstone proposes to issue solicitation number, W31P4Q-12-R-0014. The proposed solicitation issue date is 7 May 2012 with a closing date of 6 July 2012. The proposed action is for a new cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the acquisition of engineering services to support the fielded Tube-Launched Optically-Tracked Wireless-Guided (TOW) weapon system with a FY 12 base-year and annual options through FY 16. This requirement is sole-sourced to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) CAGE Code 15090. The engineering services effort proposes to support the production, deployment, and design maintenance of all TOW weapon system configurations. This proposed requirement includes logistics management capability, configuration management, product assurance support, special engineering studies, system engineering, failure analysis, test and evaluation, and equipment publications. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. If you are interested in this requirement, you may identify your interest by submitting a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for additional competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to further compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
