- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory has a requirement for performing on-site compliance audit services of respirator manufacturers. Contractors shall conduct on-site compliance audits of sites holding respirator approvals from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. The purpose is to assess conformance to the quality control requirements of the approval regulations. Activities include the steps of audit planning, on-site visit and assessment, and reporting of audit results. This will be an indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity type service contract. Task orders will be issued under the contract. Each task order will consist of several, typically three to ten, sites in the same geographical region. Sites are located within and outside the United States. Task orders will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. Request for Proposal No. 2012-N-14270 will be issued on or about April 16, 2012. Proposals will be due on or about May 16, 2012.
