- 1. All wall and ceiling surfaces to be covered with drywall/sheetrock meeting STC-50 sound proofing (walls are approximately 12'x13') a: three of the four walls are of cinder block construction and are covered with lead contaminated paint b: One of four wals is drywall, but does not currently meet the sound proofing requirements. c: When covering the ceiling, the lighting, HVAC, and sprinkler systems will need to be adjusted to reflect the new ceiling height 2. Furnish and install a metal, security-type door frame to fit existing door. 3. Furnish and install metal deck plate to decrease gap between the existing door and the floor. 4. Furnish and install metal bars to cover HVAC vent openings in ceiling. distance between bars may not exceed 6" vertically or horizontally. 5. Furnish and install Mylar tinting to windows in the office space adjacent to the SIPRNET room. All walls and the ceiling must be professionally finished to include paint.
