- Tent Repair Kit TDP An oral request for quotation will be solicited for the following item as a small purchase: Tent Repair Kit, NSN: 8340-00-262-5767. Quantity: 250 each. Delivery destination is New Cumberland, PA. Submittal of First Article will be required 60 days after date of award. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The RFQ document can be obtained by contacting Ed D'Imperio by e-mail at Edward.D'Imperio@dla.mil or by phone at 215-737-7360. This document will be available until April 17, 2012. Oral quotations will be requested at the same time of this announcement. The closing date for oral quotations is April 20, 2012. The Defense Appropriations and Authorization Acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DOD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. The technical data package has been attached to this notice.
