- Colville National Forest Road Blading and Ditch Maintenance. The Colville National Forest is located in North Eastern Washington in Ferry, Stevens and Pend Oreille Counties, Washington State. The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. The project consists of road blading, including watering when needed, ditch cleaning and other routine and reoccurring maintenance of roads throughout the Colville National Forest. The contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract for a base year and two-one year option periods (for Fiscal years 2012, 2013 and 2014). Work will be assigned by the placement of Task Orders issued against the basic contract. The physical work and location will be identified in individual Task Orders. Contract time is estimated from May 15th through October 30th. The Government is estimating approximately 200 single lane miles (per year) of road. Actual amounts may vary as roads are surveyed and amount of funding becomes available. Government will guarantee at least 50 single lane miles for this contract. Contractor will be paid for actual work performed. There may be one to two awards off this solicitation: one for the west zone of the Forest and the other for the East Zone of the Forest or one for both zones. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about April 15, 2012. Proposals are estimated to be due May 15, 2012. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation. This acquisition is 100 % set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 115310, size standard is $7 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
