- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure a quantity of three (3) each P-3 aircraft Connector Crimp Tool Kits, either part number DMC800 or BR70-101 NSN: 4920-01-193-6713 on a limited competition basis between Daniels Manufacturing Corporation and American Valley Aviation. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, these firms are considered the only suppliers of these items. The Government does not own the technical data rights or drawings to permit full and open competition. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
