- DOL Wages Appendix C Appendix B (2) Appendix B (1) Appendix A SOW RFQ Package SF-1449 Cover Letter Provide materials, labor, and supervision to prepare approximately 1,765 square feet of concrete floor with a seamless decorative resin flooring system. The floor is located in the Men's Varsity Locker Room in Roland Hall at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Total square footage includes floor area plus a five and a half (5 ½) inch high footing that the lockers sit on plus a five and a half (5 ½) inch high cove base along all concrete walls and column bases. Five and a half (5 ½) inch cove base totals 621 linear feet. Contractor is responsible for all prep work needed to ensure proper adhesion of flooring system to locker footings, wall and column bases. See Appendix A for pictures of project site. The coating of choice is produced by Düraamen Engineered Products, Inc. and is their "Fog" colored 1/8" double broadcasted kwörtz flooring system, but a product of similar composition and color would also be considered. Final finish must be non-slip with a coefficient of friction of at least 0.5. Durability is a concern in this space as athletes sometimes wear their metal cleats in the locker room. Only products that can stand up to metal cleat traffic should be included in bid. Contractor is responsible for providing, setting up and dismantling all equipment and materials used to ensure proper dust containment and ventilation of spaces.
