- Request for Expressions of Interest : THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks Expressions of Interest from Firms Capable of Leasing and Operating Parking Garages at the Department of Labor's Frances Perkins Building REQUIREMENT The U.S. General Services Administration is seeking to lease three parking garages to a private vendor who will manage over 900 parking spaces. These spaces may be licensed to federal employees and the public at rates determined by the vendor. This is a new requirement for the location identified below. Premises U.S. Department of Labor | Frances Perkins Building 200 Constitution Ave., NW Washington, DC 20210 LEASE TERM The proposed lease term is five (5) years firm, with two (2) five (5) year renewal options. The space is expected to be ready for occupancy on an "as is" basis on or about June 1, 2012. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Expressions of Interest must be submitted to AccessNCR@gsa.gov and must be received by 5:00pm on April 27, 2012. Expressions of Interest must include the following information in order to be deemed eligible for further consideration (this is not an invitation for bids or a request for proposals): 1. Company name and business address. 2. Experience in the parking management business. 3. Name, address, telephone number and email address of authorized contact. 4. Reference to Lease Number GS-06-11-1202. Please note that due to the nature and location of this lease, firms will be viewed more favorably to the extent that they have ten years of successful experience managing parking facilities housing 300 or more vehicles in the Washington Metropolitan Area, five of which include having held contracts with federal, state or local governments. The Government will also consider any other relevant experience. Firms submitting Expressions of Interest will receive further information shortly thereafter. Any offers solicited from firms will be due on a common date.
