- Notice of Intent under W91YU0-12-T-0066-for Sole Source of Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services on the Mass Spectrometer, Orbitrap XL System at Madigan Healthcare System, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Tacoma WA. Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office(WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Thermo Electron, NA, LLC, in the amount of $84,356.00.00 for a Base + 1 year service contract. Thermo Electron, NA, LLC, has the proprietary rights as the OEM to include all software, service, and maintenance for the Government Owned Equipment located at Madigan Healthcare System. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capability. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, walter.j.bischoff@us.army.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
