- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, intends to award an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity Contract for rental of equipment with operator services to perform chemical (herbicide) application. The projected areas are primarily recently logged areas and may contain numerous residual stumps as well as residual trees that are to be protected. The location of the work is within the St. Croix Wetland Management District(WMD) located in the eight counties in west central Wisconsin. The eight counties include Burnett, Washburn, polk, Barron, St. Croix, Dunn, Pierce and Pepin. The term of the contract will be a base plus four option periods. The maximum dollar limit of the contract will be $300,000.00. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) code is 561730 with a corresponding small business size standard of $7Million. Firms will be evaluated for award of a contract based on their technical qualifications, past performance and price. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about April 12, 2012 with quotes being due on or about May 14, 2012 by 4:00pm (cst). Interested Contractors must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration CCR) website at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifictions (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov, to be eglible for award. Also, any payment requests under the awarded contract for this project must be submitted electronically through the U.S. Department of the Treasury Internet Payment Platform System (IPP) www.ipp.gov.
