- The United States Air Force through Global Logistics Support Center (GLSC) at Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is intending to procure repair of line items cited below for a FFP Requirements Contract. This is a sole source repair effort. 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date issued 11 April, 2012, Closes 14 May 2012. 2. RFP# - FA8119-12-R-00015 3. PR# - FD2030-12-00134 4. Nomenclature/Noun - Amplifier, radio fre 5. NSN - 5996-01-242-8944IM 6. PN - 174191-1 7. Application (Engine or Aircraft) - Receiver, Radar 8. AMC - R3R-Repair, for the second or subsequently time, directly from the actual manufacturer. The Government does not won the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair of this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. Description: Line Item 0001: 5996-01-242-8944IM: Repair of Amplifier, Radio Frequency, P/N 174191-1. Description: Repair of X Band Amplifier amplifies the Frequency to the PAR Radar Receiver. The assembly is made printed circuit board made of various metal components and material with dimensions: 1.19'' H X 2.5'' W X 6.0 L and weighs 20 lbs. Quantity: Basic year: 8 each, Option I: 2 each, Option II: 2 each, Option III: 2 each, Option IV: 2 each. Line Item 0002: qty 1 lot, Over and Above Line Item 0003: qty 1 lot, Data Item Required Delivery - 8 each 120 days ARO after receipt of order and / or assets whichever is later. 11. Mandatory Language: Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
