Description

THE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Denver Acquisition and Logistics Center (DALC) is seeking third-party commercial entities with the ability to conduct capability testing on zinc air batteries. The milliamp hours (mAh) capacity of button cell zinc air batteries may be used as an evaluation criterion in future procurements. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to ascertain the availability of interested parties with the capabilities of meeting the VA's requirements for battery testing services. The point of contact for this request is Gail Hixon, Contract Specialist, at 303-273-6209 or gail.hixon@va.gov. Interested parties should provide a 2-4 page synopsis of qualifications and experience, along with complete contact information including name of company, contact individual, address, business size, socio-economic status, phone number, and email address to Ms. Hixon via email not later than April 20, 2012. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation, nor will it be used as a selection consideration factor in any future contract competition. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice.
