- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4707-12-Q-0037 Contractor is to provide the items listed below. This is a brand name requirement. Only the original software author (BMC Software ) or an authorized partner/reseller of BMC are eligible to be considered technically acceptable. This is a brand name requirement. This software was found to be the only items that can fulfill the Government's requirement. Software has been tailored for multiple DLA requirements. To replace with another software would require rework and disruption of current services. Only BMC or it's authorized representative is authorized to perform this support.
