- List of required software licenses and maitenance Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) Contracts, AIR 2.5.1.5 intends to conduct a brand name competition, as a Small Disadvantaged Business Set-aside, to award a commercial firm-fixed price contract to procure Microsoft, Check Point, Red Hat, and Vision Solutions software licenses and associated maintenance to meet P-3 Anti-Surface Warfare Improvement Program (AIP) Command, Control, Communications and Computers for Antisubmarine Warfare (C4 for ASW) and High Frequency Internet Protocol (HFIP) platform production schedules. The following software packages will be procured: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Operating System (OS) licenses, Microsoft Windows 7 Professional OS licenses, Microsoft Windows Server User Client Licenses (UCAL), Red Hat Desktop and Workstation OS licenses, Red Hat Enterprise Linux server OS licenses, Red Hat Network Satellite server licenses, Red Hat Network Management modules, Check Point Firewall licenses, Vision Solutions Doubletake Flex Client licenses, Vision Solutions Doubletake Flex server licenses, associated media and software support (see attached Item List for further details). The C4 for ASW and HFIP systems suite is comprised of several different hardware components, which require specific operating systems, utilities and applications to perform as delivered to the Navy. All systems being delivered include the brand name software applications and appropriate licenses. These licenses are being acquired to support the installation of the P-3 AIP C4 for ASW and HFIP systems into fleet aircraft to meet a planned June 2012 deployment of these assets.
