Description
The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office, intends to acquire, on a competitive small business set-aside basis, Administrative Support services in patient appointing and referral management services at the Naval Hospital Pensacola, Fl. The contractor will be responsible for such tasks as providing system and technical support services for all appoint modules, referral tracking capabilities, appointing support and CAREPOINT application for preventive health services at the Naval Hospital, Naval Hospital Medical Home Port Clinics and Naval Branch Health Clinics. THE DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS REFLECTS CURRENT KNOWLEDGE AS OF THIS PRINTING. THESE FACTS MAY BE UPDATED OR REVISED IN THE ACTUAL REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS, WHEN ISSUED. The purpose of this requirement is to obtain non personal administrative support services in patient appointing and referral management that will provide priority appointment access to active duty personnel and TRICARE Prime enrollees; provide each patient with prompt, courteous telephone service, which matches the patient with the appointment most appropriate to the service request, primary care manager continuity and to meet the guidelines for access to care standards; ensure prompt processing and documentation of referral requests to facilitate timely care at the appropriate clinic that meets access standards; and to ensure prompt, accurate, accessible, patient centered data through comprehensive data and database management. It is anticipated that the contractor personnel will work in space provided by the Government at the Military Treatment Facility (MTF). It is intended that this procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR 15 (Contracting by Negotiation) and FAR Part 12 (Commercial Items) will apply. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price service contract will result from this solicitation. It is anticipated that the basic performance period will be 01 October 2012 through 30 September 2013, with a 30 day start-up period making award by 1 September 2012. It is further anticipated that an additional two (2) twelve-month option periods will be included for a total maximum of thirty-six (36) months of service if all options are exercised. This is 100% small business set-aside. The solicitation, N00189-12-R-Z038, is anticipated to be released by 20 April 2012 and will be made available electronically upon its release to www.neco.navy.mil.
