Project Number:586-09-114 "Renovate 3K for Mental Health Outpatient Clinics" The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, VISN 16 NCO will issue on or about April 16, 2012 Invitation for Bid (IFB) VA-256-12-B-0664 for Renovate 3K for Mental Health Outpatient Clinics. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision to perform work for project 586-09-114 for the Department of Veterans Affairs, G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, in Jackson, Mississippi all in accordance with the Scope of Work, Specifications, & Drawings herein The project shall include will not be limited to: Demolition, Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing, & Electrical. The project work shall include demolition and reconstruction on space to house O/P Mental Health clinic functions, as required by the project plans and specifications. All work, including final cleanup and completion of all punchlist items, shall be performed within three hundred sixty five (365) calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. NAICS 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $33.5M, applies to this procurement. The procurement is set-aside to qualified Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). In order for a firm to be considered, the firm must be verifiable in the Center for Veterans Enterprise (VetBiz) at the time of submission of their bid. Offers from other than SDVOSB firms shall not be accepted. A pre-bid conference will be held approximately two weeks after the issuance of the solicitation. The exact date, time, and location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. A public bid opening will be conducted. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $2,000,000 - $5,000,000. Bidders are reminded that in accordance with FAR 52.219-27, Notice of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside (NOV 2011), paragraph (d)(4), "Construction by special trade contractors, at least 25 percent of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel will be spent on the concern's employees or the employees of other service-disabled veteran-owned business concerns".
