- SYNOPSIS NIST Computer and Information Security Services (CISS) IDIQ Contract Requirement. This notice is only a synopsis of a forthcoming requirement. This is NOT a solicitation. The requirement is for commercial Information Technology (IT) Services. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Information Technology Laboratory (ITL), Computer Security Division (CSD), has a requirement for a contractor or contractors to provide technical expertise and consultation in multiple specified areas of cyber and information security to ensure that the Division's mission can be met to "provide standards, technology, tools, and practices to protect our nation's information and information systems." THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The primary standard classification NAICS code is 541519 - Other Computer Related Services with a small business size standard of $25 million. NIST intends on using FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation to award Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to multiple offerors. The anticipated, estimated ceiling amount of the IDIQ contracts is $70 million, over the course of a base period of one year and four option periods of one year each. NIST anticipates posting the solicitation on or approximately fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this notice (or as soon as possible thereafter) on FedBizOpps. Potential Offerors will be responsible for obtaining this solicitation and related amendments, if any, from www.fbo.gov after the solicitation has been posted. The Government will not be maintaining a mailing list. Any communications regarding this acquisition must be made in writing and forwarded via email to keith.bubar@nist.gov, and must identify the solicitation number, company name, company address, as well as point of contact name, email address and phone number. Offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov, in order to be eligible to receive a contract under this acquisition.
