- This is a Sources Sought Notice. This does not constitute a solicitation. The information gathered from this request is for planning purposes only. If a solicitation is issued, it will be issued at a later date. The Government is not obligated, nor shall it pay, for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. No official solicitation exists in connection to this notification. If in the future an official solicitation is released, there is no guarantee that sources responding to this sources sought will be included on the sources list. This Sources Sought Notice is to determine the availability and capability of qualified large or small businesses including certified 8 (a), Small Disadvantaged, HUBZone firms; veteran and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Women Owned Small Businesses to provide the requirement. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 325188, small business size standard is 1000 employees. The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center, Pearl Harbor is seeking vendors who can provide the following under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Supply type contract: 1. Hydrogen Peroxide, 50%, shall be delivered in one ton totes equivalent to 250 gallons. One to two totes shall be delivered monthly. Physical State and Appearance: Liquid Odor: Odorless; Color: Clear colorless; Grade: Technical; Specific Gravity: 1.2 (Water = 1). Estimated Quantity 16 Tons. 2. Sodium Fluoride, 50 lb bag, min 40 bags per pallet to various locations. Chemical used as an additive to the potable water system to assist in cavity prevention. Physical State and Appearance: Solid (Crystal solid, crystalline powder); Odor: Odorless; Color: White; Formula: NaF; Grade: Technical; Specific Gravity: 2.78 (water=1); Molecular Weight: 41.99 g/mole. Estimated Quantity 1280 Bags. 3. Sodium Chloride, (Salt), shall be delivered in one ton super sacks and 50 lb bags to various locations. Chemical is used to disinfect the potable water system. Physical State and Appearance: White crystalline solid; Odor: slight halogen odor; Molecular Weight: 58.44; Color: White to opaque; Grade: Technical; Specific Gravity: 2.16 (Water = 1). Estimated Quantity 102 Tons. 4. Accu-tab, Blue Calcium Hypochlorite tablets, 50 lb, 5 gallon pail. Physical State and Appearance: White crystalline solid; Odor: slight chlorine; Molecular Weight: 58.44; Color: white tablets with blue colorant; Grade: Technical; Specific Gravity: 2.16 (Water = 1). Estimated Quantity 264 Pails. Delivery is required within 7-10 calendar days after receipt of order to various locations on Oahu, Hawaii. Interested firms are encouraged to respond to this notice with documentation showing the company's ability to fulfill the requirement described. Responses to this notice should include: 1. Company name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone and FAX numbers, website address (if available), and the name, telephone number, and e-mail address of a point of contact having the authority and knowledge to clarify responses with Government representatives. 2. Business size for NAICS 325188. 3. Technical narrative detailing the company's ability to deliver supplies listed in a timely manner to Oahu, HI. Narrative should also include an affirmative statement to whether the company is a manufacturer or a distributer. The Government acknowledges that responses to this sources sought are not binding offers. The information obtained will assist in our market research and future solicitation processes.
