- Statement of Work - Chemistry Analyzer THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The 87th Contracting Squadron located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), New Jersey, 08641, is seeking information about qualified sources to provide the following service necessary to for JB MDL, New Jersey, 08641: - Waterless Chemistry Analyzer or equivalent Please see the attached DRAFT version Statement of Work for further description of the requirement. Changes may be made to the SOW in any resulting Request for Quote. Also, Industry comment on the proposed draft statement of work is requested. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Any information submitted is voluntary. The purpose of this synopsis is to notify the industry of the USAF intent for contract action and to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (small business, large business, service-disabled veteran, woman-owned, etc.) The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The Standard Industry Code is 3826. The small business size standard, as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 500 employees. Place of Performance: This equipment will be used at the 87th Medical Treatment Facility on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst NJ, 08641. The 87th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research ONLY. No award will be made as a result of this synopsis nor are any solicitation materials available. Information requested includes commercial methodologies and practices relative to the above maintenance and repair services, including contract type(s), known market forces, challenges to successful acquisition and current industry standards, processes and practices (e.g. terms and conditions, warranties, financing, etc.).
