- SOW This is a request for information (RFI). In accordance with FAR 15.201(e) This is not a solicitation for quotes and there will be no contract award from this RFI. There will be no reimbursement for any costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI or follow-up information requests. The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (small business, large business, etc.) APHIS is interested in reviewing low cost lure options to support the Gypsy Moth Program. Those interested in being considered for future gypsy moth lure contracts should supply 100 dispensers loaded with APHIS-provided (+) dispar lure for testing, and provide the additional information as described in the SOW (attached). APHIS will evaluate submitted products against the standard PVC laminated string lure (string lures) or a laminate dispenser (laminate lures). Comparison tests will be designed to show the effectiveness of the submitted products relative to the standard lures in the presence of wild populations of gypsy moths.
