- Description
- The Government has a need for a Gas Anaylzer system for a laboratory at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This notice is for market research purposes only. This is not a soliciation or a request for a quote. The Government has the following salient characteristics that the system must contains: Laboratory FTIR Gas Analyzer Minimum Essential Characteristics: General Dimensions : 51.2cm x 47.3cm x 31.1cm Measuring Principle: Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Performance: simultaneous analysis of up to 50 gas compounds Response Time: <120s Operating Temp: 5-30 degrees C (non-condensing) Scan Frequency: 10 scans/second Spectrometer Detector: Liquid Nitrogen cooled MCT Source: SiC, 1550K Optics Material: ZnSe (beamsplitter and windows) Wavenumber Range: 600-4200 cm-1 Sample Cell Structure: Multi-pass, fixed path length 2.5 m Material: 100% Rhodium coated aluminum Mirrors: fixed, protected gold coating Volume: 0.45L Connectors: Inlet Swagelok 6mm, Outlet Swagelok 8mm Gaskets: Viton O-rings Temperature: 180 degrees C maximum Window material: ZnSe Measuring Parameters Zero Point Drift: <2% of measuring range per zero point calibration interval Sensitivity Drift: none Linear Deviation: <2% of measuring range Temperature Drift: <2% of measuring range per 10K temperature change Pressure Influence: 1% change of measuring value for 1% sample pressure change. Ambient pressure changes measured and compensated. Gas Inlet and Outlet Conditions Gas Temp: non-condensing (sample gas temp. should be the same as the sample cell temp.) Flow Rate: 120-600 1 per hour Gas Filtration: filtration of 2 particulates required Sample Gas Pressure: ambient Sample Pump: external (not included) Input/Output Port: More than one port to allow for continuous gas flow through the system The Government is looking for any responsbile small businesses that are capable of providing this system. This notice is requesting a capabilities statement that reflects the delivery of the above minimum characteristics. All small businesses can provide a capabilities statement to Erin Maddox via email at erin.maddox@amedd.army.mil no later than 27 March 2012 at 10:00 am eastern standard time (EST).
