Description

Sole Source Justification INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Casters for MQ-1 Aircraft Solicitation Number: FA8601-12-R-0031 NAICS Code: 332510 (size standard is 500 employees) This notification is to inform the public that the government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed sole source is Aerol Co., Inc of Rancho Dominguez, CA. This contract will purchase technically sufficient casters for the MQ-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to Michael.Piller@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Michael W. Piller, ASC/PKOBB, 937-656-1412 no later than 11:00 am Eastern on Wednesday March 28, 2012. Only proposals received by this date will be considered. Any questions should be directed to Michael W. Piller at 937-522-4620.
